Bodycenter Studios offers physical therapy services in partnership with:
Kailey Campbell earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Puget Sound in 2014. She was drawn to Physical Therapy with her own personal experience as a collegiate cross country and track & field athlete at the University of Washington 2006-2010. In her time at the University of Washington she earned All American Honors and was a member of the 2008 NCAA Division I Cross Country National Championship team. Achievements, however, did not come without injuries, and it was these experiences that introduced Kailey to the field of Physical Therapy. Pursuing Physical Therapy as a profession offered her the opportunity to connect her passions of exercise, optimal functional movement patterns, and helping others discover their own personal wellness.
Kailey, drawn to orthopedics, became a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2017. She has pursued further manual therapy certifications programs; the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) and is a Graston Technique Specialist (GTS). Adding these certifications and courses provide a foundation for critical diagnosis and manual therapy treatments.
Kailey was first exposed to Pilates as a stabilization regime for her own running - finding that she was more aware of core stability, posture, and form. This had previously been missing from her own collegiate running career and something she strongly recommends for athletes of all sports whether their demands are power, endurance, repetitive or unilateral in nature.
Kailey pursued and completed her level 1 STOTT Pilates certification in 2018, and it quickly became a crucial element to all her Physical Therapy treatments. She strongly feels that people get better when their bodies move, and, better yet, when they learn to move independently with stable and fluid control. Kailey founded Fluid Motion Physical Therapy and Pilates in 2020, with the goals to provide Pilates as an adjunct to traditional Physical Therapy and help others find a lasting connection to Pilates and their body.
At Bodycenter Studios, Kailey combines one on one Physical Therapy services with Pilates instruction. She is eager to work with you to develop a personalized plan for injury recovery, injury prevention, or long-term health/strength management. She’s hoping you find a passion for Pilates whether it’s your main form of physical activity or improves stability, mobility, and awareness for you to do what you love the most – Pilates truly is for everyone.
Initial consult appointments require completion of intake form. Appointments are one hour in length and billed at the time of service at 100 dollars per hour. Kailey accepts cash, check, credit cards, and some HSA/FSA cards. Clients will be provided with appropriate Physical Therapy clinical notes to independently submit to insurance providers. Please check with your insurance carrier to determine individual policies for reimbursement as this varies from plan to plan.
Suzanne Oliver, PT earned her Physical Therapy degree from the University of Puget Sound in 1984. She was drawn to the physical therapy profession while in high school. She recognized that physical therapy would allow her an opportunity to practice in a profession where she could apply her interest in movement, exercise and wellness to help others improve their function.
Suzanne was fortunate to develop her skills and work with wonderful mentors. Her most recent intensive training was with the Integrated Systems Model taught by Diane Lee and Linda Joy which looks at the whole body for optimal function. The past few years, she has expanded her manual skills with visceral training as taught by the Barral Institute. She has participated in extensive study of manual therapy with the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy. In addition, she has many years of training in the treatment of movement impairment syndromes.
Suzanne practices an integrated treatment approach that utilizes her manual therapy skills along with her passion for developing specific exercise to improve movement awareness, muscle balance and performance. Suzanne values the opportunity to use her skill with movement analysis to help achieve optimal function
Suzanne enjoys reading and spending time outdoors to garden, run, ski, climb, hike and paddle. Her most recent outdoor pursuits are learning how to surf, outrigger canoe and mountain bike.
Suzanne does not use the online schedule system. Contact Suzanne by email, voice mail or text to schedule an appointment.
Kateryna Bakay earned her Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2010. While she practiced in a variety of settings, the world of orthopedics has become her passion. Kateryna prefers to apply her PT training in concert with the pilates method to create a more holistic approach to each patient. Her STOTT certification in clinical pilates method has helped her overcome personal injuries, and significantly influenced her treatment style. Her patients recover more efficiently and effectively with this approach. Staying current with industry trends, training, and education, she became a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and Bike Fit specialist. Earning her OCS credentials, she verified her industry experience amongst her peers and translates that expertise to each patient. As a PT certified to complete bike fitting, she works with recreational riders, tri-athletes, and dedicated cyclists to help them address injuries associated with their sport.
Owning her own practice has been Kateryna’s long term goal. In 2017, she founded Bend & Stretch Physical Therapy LLC, pursuing her passion of providing an individualized pilates based physical therapy treatment. Kateryna believes that a healthy body leads to a healthy mind. Her treatment focus is to empower her patients and provide them with tools necessary to achieve their fitness and health goals.
At Bodycenter Studios, Kateryna combines physical therapy services with pilates instruction. She is eager to work with you to develop a strategy for long-term management of your health. Kateryna accepts cash, check, and credit cards and bills most of the major insurance carriers. You may book an appointment with her directly online at www.bendnstretchpilatespt.com.
